Restraining Orders and Injunctions
Did you know that a domestic violence restraining order or injunction against you will keep you from ever being able to own or possess a firearm or ammunition?
Other consequences will begin as soon as a charge is brought against you by way of the filing of a restraining order. You may find that you will not be able to live at home, see your children, or even visit with other family members.
So many domestic violence cases are based simply on “he said, she said” allegations. Collateral evidence is important. I will attempt to obtain as much of this information as possible to present in court. Text messages, phone records, and surveillance video are all important, and under the proper circumstances, are admissible in Court.
